Booking

Reservations, cancellations, weekend minimums, early returns

Pick a car from the catalog, submit the inquiry form with your dates and contact details, and our team confirms availability and pricing by phone or WhatsApp — usually within 30 minutes during business hours. A non-refundable 20–40% retainer is authorized on your credit card to secure the reservation.
Once a reservation is made with Exotic Whips we authorize your credit card for a non-refundable 20%–40% of the total rental cost. You can also wire or send us the reservation fee. Cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion for unforeseen events such as weather and natural disasters. Same-day cancellations are final and non-refundable.
We have a 2-day minimum on weekends, and yes — in the rental industry Friday is considered a weekend because demand is considerably higher. However, we can offer a non-guaranteed 1-day rental on weekends depending on availability.
We charge the full amount of the rental in advance or on the day of the rental. Once a vehicle is reserved we are not allowed to rent the vehicle during the days of your rental period. If you cancel early you will be given a credit for future rentals in the amount of days left during your rental period.
We advise our clients to allow us a 1 and a 1/2 hour window to make deliveries.
You are not allowed to leave the state of Florida or travel beyond 100 miles from our office unless consent is given from management. The vehicle may not be used: for any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activity; to exceed any posted speed limits; in any racetrack or road course; by anyone not licensed to drive or whose Driver's License has been suspended or restricted; to carry persons or property for hire; to push or tow anything; to teach anyone to drive; or on any unpaved surface.

Where, when, and how we hand off the car

At Exotic Whips we pride ourselves in providing an exceptional experience to our clients renting Exotic & Luxury vehicles. We offer airport escorts to Miami International Airport, Opa-Locka Private Airport, Fort Lauderdale International / private airport, and surrounding areas such as Miami Beach, Wynwood, Downtown, and Fort Lauderdale during regular business hours. For deliveries outside Miami / Fort Lauderdale areas please contact us — the fee depends on distance and includes a flatbed curbside / front-door delivery option.
We are a 24-hour service, which makes it easy for us to accommodate your ever-changing schedule and last-minute trips. We can deliver or pick up your rental at no cost within our allowed locations between 10 AM and 8 PM EST. For deliveries or pickups outside our normal operating hours we charge a $50–$250 surcharge that varies by location and distance.
Yes. We offer airport escorts to Miami International Airport (MIA), Opa-Locka Private Airport (OPF), and Fort Lauderdale International / private airport (FLL). Tell us your flight details at booking and we time the handoff to your arrival.
Yes within our standard service areas (Miami Beach, Wynwood, Downtown Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the airports above), during business hours of 10 AM–8 PM EST. Outside that window or outside the standard areas, the surcharge is itemized at booking.

Insurance

Coverage requirements, credit card protection, liability

The renter must provide proof of an active insurance policy in the primary renter's name. The policy must provide collision, comprehensive, and liability coverage that transfers to your rental. Even if you drive a 1996 Honda Accord, your full-coverage insurance will cover in all 50 states. American Express offers "Premium Insurance" that can act as your primary insurance during your rental period.
Many premium cards include rental collision coverage, but most have a vehicle-value cap that excludes high-value exotic models. American Express Premium Car Rental Protection is one of the few that explicitly covers exotic rentals; confirm with your card issuer before arrival and ask specifically about vehicles over $75,000 MSRP. We can provide the rental contract for the verification call.
All drivers are responsible for their own driving citations, driving tickets, and towing expenses. The renter is fully responsible for any parking citations and red-light camera tickets during the rental period.
Yes. If damage is found when the vehicle is returned we will provide an on-site evaluation and deduct it from your deposit. Significant damage that exceeds the deposit is billed to the renter and may be covered by your transferring insurance policy or credit-card protection if those apply.

Driver requirements

Age, license, additional drivers, geographic restrictions

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent from us. You must not have any severe moving violations and/or DUI cases on your record — if so, there is a possibility your rental agreement or reservation will be denied. If you are under the age of 25, you may inquire with us for more information.
Yes — you can add up to two drivers to your rental agreement. The same rules and regulations apply for additional drivers: age 25+, full-coverage insurance, and a clean driving record.
Yes. We accept any International Driving Permit (IDP) issued in your home country, presented alongside your original home-country license. Both documents are checked at pickup. IDPs from any country are accepted — Brazil, Argentina, UK, Germany, UAE, Mexico, Russia, China, and others.
A valid driver's license (US or international with IDP), a credit card in the renter's name for the security-deposit authorization, and proof of your active full-coverage insurance policy. International renters often bring a passport as secondary ID.

Payment & deposit

Payment methods, security deposit, mileage packages

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Cashier's checks or personal checks are accepted if delivered to us 7–10 days before the rental. They can also be given as a form of payment at our discretion for damages incurred during a rental.
Yes, we require a security deposit. The deposit amount is specific to each vehicle and can range anywhere from $1,000 to $7,000. Cash deposit retainers will be returned after the rental period if no damages are incurred. If any damages are found once the vehicle has been returned, we provide an on-site evaluation and deduct the cost from your deposit.
Miles depend on the rental vehicle. Exotics such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Rolls-Royce are restricted to 100 miles per day; if you exceed that, you will be charged an additional $4.00 per mile. For all other vehicles we provide 150 miles per day and charge $3.00 per mile for overages. These fees are applied only when the vehicle is returned and are deducted from the deposit.
Yes — we provide a discounted miles package if you want to prepay miles before the start of your rental. For Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Rolls-Royce, prepaid miles are $3.00 per mile; for all other vehicles, prepaid miles are $2.00 per mile.

Damage, fuel, tolls & accidents

Refueling, tolls, citations, towing, damage policy

The refueling charge for a rental is $5 per gallon.
Tolls are charged as a $15 per day flat fee and are collected from the security deposit at the end of the rental period.
Any towing charges or damages incurred during the rental cycle will be deducted from the deposit and/or billed to the client. The client can continue the rental after the charges are paid and the vehicle is released.
If any damages are found once the vehicle has been returned, we provide an on-site evaluation and deduct the cost from your deposit. Significant damage that exceeds the deposit is billed to the renter and may be covered by your transferring insurance policy or credit-card protection if those apply.
Stop in a safe place, call 911 if anyone is injured, file a police report for any collision with another vehicle or property, and call Exotic Whips immediately. Take photos of all vehicles, damage, the scene, and the other driver's license, registration, and insurance. Do not admit fault at the scene — let insurance handle it. We will arrange a tow if the car is not drivable.
