The 488 Spider's hardtop folds in fourteen seconds at speeds up to 25 mph, which means you do not need to plan for it. The cabin cools down quickly in the worst of August afternoon heat. The ride is firm but not punishing, which matters on Ocean Drive where the pavement has been there since the 1980s.
